Is this for me?

Who should & shouldn't attend.

Floating sound baths are gentle by design, but sound is a real, physical thing and the room sits over water. A few honest notes so you can arrive with confidence — and know when to check in with us first.

Well-suited

  • Anyone running on empty — stressed, wired, sleeping badly
  • People rebuilding after burnout, illness or a heavy season
  • First-timers who have never meditated in their life
  • Couples, friends, or teams wanting a shared moment of calm
  • Anyone drawn to sound, water, or simply a proper hour of rest

Please check with us first

  • First trimester of pregnancy — please email us before booking
  • Pacemakers or other implanted medical devices
  • Epilepsy triggered by sound or vibration, if not well managed
  • Currently in an acute mental health crisis — please reach for support first
  • Recent ear surgery, perforated eardrum or active ear infection
  • Severe mobility limitations that would make getting onto a floating bed unsafe (ask us — we can often adapt)

Not medical advice. If you are unsure, email us at info@thefloatingsoundsanctuary.com and we will help you decide.
