Is this for me?
Who should & shouldn't attend.
Floating sound baths are gentle by design, but sound is a real, physical thing and the room sits over water. A few honest notes so you can arrive with confidence — and know when to check in with us first.
Well-suited
- Anyone running on empty — stressed, wired, sleeping badly
- People rebuilding after burnout, illness or a heavy season
- First-timers who have never meditated in their life
- Couples, friends, or teams wanting a shared moment of calm
- Anyone drawn to sound, water, or simply a proper hour of rest
Please check with us first
- First trimester of pregnancy — please email us before booking
- Pacemakers or other implanted medical devices
- Epilepsy triggered by sound or vibration, if not well managed
- Currently in an acute mental health crisis — please reach for support first
- Recent ear surgery, perforated eardrum or active ear infection
- Severe mobility limitations that would make getting onto a floating bed unsafe (ask us — we can often adapt)
Not medical advice. If you are unsure, email us at info@thefloatingsoundsanctuary.com and we will help you decide.
